I want to transfer my Maxem Home to a new owner. How does that work?
During the lifetime of your Maxem Home, you may want to transfer Maxem Home and the Maxem subscription to a new owner. Maxem can, of course, facilitate this. How does this work?
Instructions
Using the steps below, Maxem ensures that the current owner can terminate their existing Maxem Home subscription with a one-month notice period, and that the new owner also enters into a one-year contract with Maxem Home. In addition to the monthly fee of €6.61 excluding VAT, there is a one-time fee of €189 excluding VAT for the new owner to ensure the smooth transition. Note that the one-month notice period applies after the end of the first contract year. Within the first contract year, Maxem will follow up on the termination, taking into account the full first contract year.
The transfer works as follows:

The current owner sends an email to finance@maxem.io with the subject line "Cancellation of Maxem Home subscription" and also includes the Maxem serial number in the subject line of the email (e.g. MX5-1-H-000001) and states in the body of the email:

The desired cancellation date (e.g. 31-01-2021);

The contact details of the new owner (telephone number and email address);

The start date of the takeover;

The current owner is responsible for informing the new owner that, in addition to the monthly costs, there are also one-off costs for using Maxem Home in connection with the takeover;

The new owner sends an email to finance@maxem.io with the subject line "Maxem Home subscription takeover" and also includes the Maxem serial number in the subject line of the email (e.g. MX5-1-H-000001) and states in the body of the email:

The desired start date (e.g. 01-02-2021);

The contact details (telephone number and email address);

The agreement on the monthly and one-off costs for Maxem Home;

Maxem will follow up the termination notice with the current owner of Maxem Home, taking into account a one-month notice period based on the desired termination date;

After cancellation, the current owner has until the specified cancellation date to download an export of the charging sessions already completed through his account via the Maxem App;

Maxem guarantees that after termination by the current owner of Maxem Home, the login of the current owner can no longer be used for the Maxem App; The new user will receive instructions on how to login.

Maxem will follow up on the takeover by the new owner of Maxem Home with an invoice for the monthly costs, which will be billed annually and one year in advance, and with an invoice for the one-time costs for the takeover.
