Why is there a maximum kWh tariff of €0,79/kWh
At Maxem, the maximum kWh tariff you can set on a charge point is currently €0,79/kWh for AC charging (including the roaming surcharge, excluding VAT) and €0,90/kWh for DC charging. These limits exists because the eMSPs (charge pass providers) we work with cannot guarantee reimbursement of transactions above this rate.
To ensure you always receive payment from any visitor charging at your location, we apply this limit across our systems. In the future, this threshold may be adjusted, but for now the maximum remains €0,79/kWh for AC charging and €0,90/kWh for DC charging.
