How do I update a charging station?
This article is meant for experienced installers or partners.
Important: Manufacturers of charging stations can have specific guidelines when to update or not update your charging station. Make sure you are fully aware of what those guidelines are. Maxem is not responsible for occurring errors after an update. If an error comes up you may need to go on site and consult the manufacturer.
You can perform a software update in the Maxem Energy Cloud as follows.
- Click on the left on “locations” and click on the tile of the location of the asset.
- Click on “assets” and navigate to the charging station you want to update.
- Click on the tab “configuration”
- Here you can see the current software version of the charging station. Click on “Select firmware version” and a choice menu will open.
- Select the latest firmware version of your charging station. Make sure you choose the right update version for your charging station brand.
- Click on execute firmware update.
Note: If you don’t see your firmware version in the list, please contact our technical support team. Please attach the needed software file if possible.
