How do I add and/or manage charging stations in Maxem Energy Cloud?

To add a charging station you first need the create an organization and location for your client. To learn how to add an organization go to the ‘Managing organizations’ and ‘Managing locations’ section.

A charging point is added under the location of the respective organization, with two options for adding a charging point.

Required steps:

From the left menu, first select 'Organizations', then choose the correct organization where the charging point should be added to the location by clicking on the tile of the organization. This will navigate you within this organization.
Select 'Locations' in the left menu of the platform.
Click on the tile of the location of the organization to navigate within the location.
Select 'Assets' in the left menu of the platform.
Add a charging point to the location of the organization by clicking '+ Add an asset' and following the next four steps:

Step 1 of 4:

Check the box ‘Add this item to the platform as pre-approved for future installation’.
Enter the OCPP ID (serial number).
Confirm that the charging point is added to the correct location.
Select ‘AC Charging Point’.
Select the subscription ‘AC Charging Margin’ from the list.
Select ‘Monthly’ from the list.

Step 2 of 4:

Maximum charging point current (A): 16 (for 16A).
Maximum current per socket (A): 16 (for 16A).
Number of phases: 1 or 3 (phase).
Number of sockets/cables: 1 (for a single socket) and 2 (for a double charging point).
Charging point voltage (V): 230.
Connection type: Socket (in case of ‘Socket’).
Communication type: Wired (in case of network cable).

Step 3 of 4:

Leave the checkbox for ‘Use location settings for this charging point’ for the access mode.

Step 4 of 4:

Leave the checkbox for ‘Use location settings for this charging point’ for the rate.

The charging point has been added under the location of the correct organization.
