Maximum Charging tariffs

Below is an overview of the possible maximum charging tariffs that can be set by charging point owners via Maxem Energy Cloud. It is up to charge point owners to set an EV charging rate for their charge points. Maxem encourages owners to set a competitive rate, but they are free to choose any tariff rate below the mentioned maximum tariffs. The rate that has been set can be found via the app of your charge card provider.

Max. tariff per kWh ex. VAT

Max. tariff per session ex. VAT

Please note, in the list, the maximum tariff per kWh is the tariff including the roaming surcharge. For example if you have a roaming surcharge of €0,04, you can enter a maximum of €0,75 for AC charging (0,75 + 0,04 = 0,79).

FAQ

Why is there a maximum kWh tariff of €0,79/kWh

These limits exists because the eMSPs (charge pass providers) we work with cannot guarantee reimbursement of transactions above this rate.

To ensure you always receive payment from any visitor charging at your location, we apply this limit across our systems. In the future, this threshold may be adjusted, but for now the maximum remains €0,79/kWh for AC charging and €0,90/kWh for DC charging.
