What format does Maxem use for charge passes import?
Partners who need to add hundreds of charge passes can request Maxem to perform a bulk import. This process requires submitting data in a specific format to ensure accurate processing.
Required File Format
Maxem accepts charge passes data in Excel (.xlsx) format with the following required columns:
- Visible ID (required) - The visible ID found on the front of the charging card
- UID (optional) - The unique identifier of the card
- Pass name (optional) - A descriptive name for the pass
- E-mail address of passholder (required) - The email address of the user as either a cardholder or administrator, depending on their role within the organization
Note: There is no limit on the number of passes per passholder. One passholder can have all passes of the organization attached to them.
Important Requirements
Complete List Submission: Partners must submit their complete list of all passes they need, not just new additions. Each import overrides the entire existing list of passes in the system.
Data Quality: Partners are responsible for ensuring their pass list is:
- Up-to-date with current information
- Free of duplicates
- Accurate in all details
While Maxem reviews submitted files for obvious errors, partners should thoroughly verify their data before submission to avoid processing delays or issues.
How to Request Bulk Import
To request a bulk import of charge passes:
- Create an Excel file with the fields you can provide (minimum two columns required: Visible ID and E-mail address of passholder)
- Complete all required fields for each pass
- Review the file for accuracy and duplicates
- Create a support ticket and attach the file at https://support.maxem.io/
The Maxem team will then process the bulk import and add the passes to the MEC (Maxem Energy Cloud) system.
