Why doesn't the charging station recognize the charging card or register transactions?
Required steps
- Log in to the Maxem Energy Cloud

Select the correct organization from the left menu under 'Organizations' by clicking on the tile for the organization where the charging station's status needs to be investigated. This will open the organization settings.

Select the correct location from the left menu under 'Locations' by clicking on the tile for the location where the charging station's status needs to be investigated. This will open the location settings.

Select the correct charging station from the left menu under 'Assets' by clicking on the row for the charging station. This will open the charging station settings.

Select 'Logs' in the charging station settings menu to view all OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) messages between the charging station and Energy Cloud.

In the logs: Filter the status messages:

Authorize
-
StartTransaction
-
StatusNotifications
-
StopTransaction.
If one of the above status notifications is missing, it means the charging station is not fully communicating the transaction to the Maxem Energy Cloud.
