As an installer or partner, I want to configure charging stations for the Maxem Energy Cloud backoffice. How does this work?

Requirements:

• Charging station compatible with the Maxem Energy Cloud. (Compatible charging stations: link)

• Charging station installation software from the manufacturer.

The process works as follows:

1. Stop all pending transactions for the charging station and disconnect the charging cable(s) so that all sockets have the "available" status.
2. Log in to the charging station(s) using the manufacturer's installation software: Adjust the current backoffice connection. This can be done via the backoffice preset (these are pre-configured backoffice connections for the platforms the manufacturer supports by default). Change this to "Maxem" or "Maxem (Open)." If these two presets are not available, proceed to the next step.
3. Check whether the backoffice URL has been changed to "wss://socket.maxem.energy" (Without quotation marks. This corresponds to the backoffice preset "Maxem"). If this URL does not work then try to change it to "ws://socket.maxem.energy" (which corresponds to the backoffice preset "Maxem (Open)").
4. Check the connection method for the charging station by checking whether the charging station requires a wired connection or a SIM card (GPRS), and select the appropriate connection method.
5. If communicating via a Maxem SIM card, the APN setting should be changed to "olivia" (without quotation marks). For  wired connection, the APN does not need to be entered.
6. Save the settings.
7. Finish by rebooting the charging station. The charging station should then start up with the new settings and successfully connect to the Maxem Energy Cloud.
8. Repeat these steps for all charging stations.
